Danielle shares how she went from a girl who didn’t necessarily view herself as particularly gifted at synchro to a confident flourishing lady who represented Australia in the Rio 2016 games and all that that entails. Danielle talks about the actual experience of the games and her emotions at the opening ceremony. While the achievement is obviously enormous, the most fascinating aspect to this conversation is the emphasise she places on the journey to achieving her goal and the learnings Danielle gathered during this process as well as how it has shaped her identity and view of what she is capable of. Danielle has a wonderful energy about her which makes it very easy to be caught up in her story and really feel what she went through.
